I see that the Cinematheque is showing “Frozen” outdoors, at a municipal parking facility two blocks from my house. The most surprising part of this is that there’s a municipal parking facility two blocks from my house. I’ve never seen it. I’ve walked down three sides of the block that the maps say that it’s on, but I don't remember it. It’s possible that I’ve seen it and not noticed it. I might not remember a parking facility. Without a car, I don’t have a use for one. I check Facebook again for the location. I drop the coordinates into Google Maps. The photos don’t show anything. I wouldn’t be able to get to the movie tonight, anyway. I’ll still be at work when it starts. If I were to go, I don’t know that I’d have a way to get into it. They’ve made the place into a drive-in. Tickets are twenty shekels per car. There’s no walk-up price. Without a car radio, I might not have a way to hear the audio anyway. And it will still be hot. Maybe when I get off work, I’ll just head home and put on “Frozen,” the air conditioner, and some more comfortable clothes.
