Rather than mustard, the sesame pretzel at this coffee shop comes with small containers of strawberry jam and of butter for dipping. I don't try the butter, but the jam works quite well. As I munch on it and write, a couple getting espresso to go drops two of the complimentary chocolates on my tray. "We won't eat these. Enjoy." Once I'm done with the pretzel, I absentmindedly unwrap one of the chocolates and pop it in my mouth. My teeth feel an unpleasant jolt and I spit it out. I see that I had forgotten the second foil wrapper under the paper one. I unwrap that second layer and, making sure that there are no further surprises, devour the chocolate. It is delicious.
