No one I've spoken to today has mentioned the rockets. From the news feeds, it looks like things might be getting worse. but no one I've seen is visibly bothered. Schools and businesses are open again. Work continues. On my walk home home, everything seems to be as it has been. The city square smells of good pipe tobacco. Somewhere on the pedestrian street, someone is trying to play "Für Elise" too quickly. The new kitten in our yard runs up to me when I get home and briefly tolerates being petted. I kick fallen grapefruit and oranges out of my way in an impromptu game of solitaire soccer fruit bocce before I head inside.
